Pastor Simon Eng was the speaker today.

Some people will be leaving, for a change.

Went to watch Priest with Jun Yao and Shem.

Predictable plot with vampires that look more like aliens.

Had some revisitation of the past.

"Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

First time to Timbre for sister Shereen's birthday celebration.

Buffalo wings and thin-crust pizza were delectable!

Told them about my past meetups with the SIM group people and they were happy that I was enjoying myself with them.

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Went for the adults' service.

It had different songs but the same content for the sermon.

Jokes were more or less the same.

There was a skit though for the adult service.

Received a message from brother Ben, who opened up his place to watch soccer.

Was thrilled to be invited, despite not knowing much of the game.

Went over to his place with drinks for a time of bonding.

Got to know a new brother, Moses.

They were patient to explain the game of soccer to me, answering any queries that I had.

Post soccer, brother Garyl had to leave as he had school the next day while the rest of us hopped a ride in Ben's car to have supper.

There was sharing of how we came to accept Christ.

Went back to Ben's place and lodged at his place.

Left his place in the morning and went home to fall asleep again.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

A first step into a new service.

I prayed pretty hard last night that I would be able to fit into the Uni YA, SIM group.

Met up with sister Shuyi and brother Yeekan at Redhill MRT, who were young adults attending the Uni YA service.

Made our way to the church hall, sister Shuyi helped me to ask around for contacts into the SIM group.

It so happened that the usher at the door, brother Shem, was from the SIM group. He was under the UOL group.

The Uni YA service had faster tempo songs and was more lively than the adults' service.

Post service, brother Shem brought sister Angela who was from the RMIT group and they invited me to join them for dinner.

I was at a crossroads to 2 groups asking me to join them for dinner, sister Shuyi's LG and the SIM group.

In the end, I went along with sister Shuyi's LG but obtained sister Angela's contact to join them later in the night.

Post dinner, I went over to Orchard Cineleisure to meet the SIM group.

It was there that I met up with my age group of people.

A list of brothers that I could recall : Luke, Garyl, Ryan, Jun Yao, Alex, Jon, Shem, Ben, Yi Xiang.

Exchanged contacts and some of us went for supper where there was some sharing of testimonials.

Went home by sharing a cab with brother Alex and brother Yi Xiang.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
